Hello. I am writing to ask if it is possible to upgrade an underpowered WFE-28(can't hit min flow of 75GPM with a 2HP, can only get 61GPM due to TDH) by replacing the diffuser, impeller and motor assembly, or is wiser to replace with a whole unit and sell the old one.

Hi, Vaughn. If your existing pump is more than 5 years old, I recommend replacing the entire pump with the 2.5  or 3.0 HP WhisperFlo Pump. If newer, you will need to replace the Motor, Impeller, Diffuser, and Seals.

is possible diffuser and impeller make leak?

Hello Sam, so if the diffuser and or impeller over heat and get warped that could cause the shaft seal to fail and leak. Not very common but it is possible.
