Can you buy just the bolts without buying the whole flange clamp?

The bolts are not sold separately, you may be able to find suitable replacements at a hardware store. If that option does not work then a assembly would need to be purchased.

Will the Hayward GMX600NM clamp replace the Praher TM-12 Clamp

Hi Stan, The clamp is actually part of the filter so we would need to know which filter you have to know which clamp you need. If you do have a Hayward top mount sand filter like the S166T, S180T, S210T or S244T then the GMX600NM clamp would be the correct clamp.

Unfortunately no. The correct clamp to use on this model is here. The clamp you are looking at is for a different group of similiar models.

Will this clamp work on a S244T Pro Series top mount sand filter produced in the 1990's? What about the other parts, will they work to replace parts on the filter sold in the 1990? Thank you

Hi B., Yes this is the correct clamp for a Hayward S244T Pro Series Sand Filter. The parts on the Hayward Pro Series Sand Filter Exploded Parts Diagram would be all the correct parts for a S244T sand filter from the 1990's.

My valve clamp cracked in half and needed to be replaced

Written on 6/22/2022 by Guest

This was easy for me! I'm not good at DIY repairs. I've only had my pool 3 seasons. It was here when I bought the house.
The valve clamp cracked in half and there was water pouring from the filter.
1. I unscrewed the old valve clamp 2.Put the new valve clamp in place making sure the entire clamp was secured around the whole diameter. 3. Then tighten the screws on both sides. That was it and my filter is working great now.

Had to replace old filter and flange was weathered and old, leaking

Written on 7/1/2019 by Guest

Very simple install, use a large screwdriver (Philips or flathead), and remove the old flange by unscrewing two small screws, remove old flange. Install new 2-piece flange starting by placing the two flange pieces around the joint between the top of the sand filter and the bottom lip of the filter. set the square nuts in the flange and thread the bolts through both flange piece, and tighter 1/2 way.

Repeat on other side and then alternating each side tighten flange is fully tight. Turn on system and test, making tightening adjustments to the new flange bolts. Once no leaks are seen, apply the small rubber bolt ends to the bolts to keep from corroding. Very easy install.
