The clamp I was using was broken in two pieces and had no knob to secure the lid.

I took off the old clamp with a wrench as the old clamp knob had broken a long time ago, so I had been using a homemade system to seal the lid. The clamp itself had been in two pieces for several years because I could not find a replacement until I found your company. I then I put the new clamp on and tightened the lid with the new knob provided with the clamp.
