Would 9237-51 replace compool 2000 which has 9 pairs of wires going to LX10 control? Compool 2000 is 5"x 10" and fits in wall.

Unfortunately this board would not work, however Pentair has come out with a pretty cool upgrade kit for the Compool CP2000 which you could use, you may read more about this kit here http://www.inyopools.com/Products/03501352061958.htm ($519) If you would also like an indoor controller then you would need this item http://www.inyopools.com/Products/03500004032310.htm Thanks!

The inhouse compool jp3800 shows no display does this indicate the unit is bad and can this be replaced with an updated newer unit or does the whole system need to be updated

Hi, Glenn. You will have to upgrade your system using the Compool to EasyTouch Upgrade Kit - 521107 along with the EasyTouch Indoor Control Panel - 520549 or the EasyTouch Wireless Controller - 520547.
