The Chlorinator Cap Cover is only the cover to a Hayward  200 Inline and Offline Series chlorinator. It does not include any additional parts, hardware, inserts or an o-ring. The Cover & Cap Assy Complete, with o-ring, is a complete assembly.

If you are leaking water from the pool while the pool pump is running, I would highly recommend you replace the chlorinator lid and not run the pump until it is fixed. The water will drain out of the pool and over time it could cause equipment damage.

The cover was leaking. I’m lucky I found it because I had no reason to look at my pump.

I went to local pool supply and they offered to sell me a replacement cover for $95. I found the cover on your website and not being sure it was going to solve the problem, I ordered it based on knowing I could return it if it wasn’t right. It was perfect and took me a total of 10 minutes to install after opening the package.

Cap was cracked and VERY difficult to remove

Written on 6/1/2018 by Guest

The center pc of the old cap just pops right off using a small flat screwdriver. After that the inside of the old cap just screws off, it is not very tight as it is a plastic screw and not meant to be tight so the inside of the cap can rotate. Once I removed the insides I installed them into the new cap with ease. The new cap works very good and is much easier to remove when adding chlorine tabs.
