Will the Hayward EC-30 tank replace the EC-40?

No, the Hayward EC-30 tank will not fit the EC-40 top. Both filters have different diameters.

Hi John, I just went out to the warehouse and put my hands on this filter tank and it does indeed include the diffuser.
