i have several SP 1425-D inlets in my pool. Two of them have deteriorated. Is it possible to replace them, are they threaded at the bottom and can they be unscrewed?

There are different kinds of these floor fittings. One model glued in and the second style screws in. If you have the type which screws then you could replace. I would first check to see if you can unscrew the current fitting. If so then you would could go with this item here.

Hi Ruth, See the answer below. As suggested I would first check to see if you can unscrew the current fitting. If so then you would could go with this item here. If they are glued in, you will have to have a pool professional replace it.
