cc75 for this has a large hole in the center? the center if so is there a less expensive model that will work

Hello Manny. The large hole in the center of the filter allows the cartridge to slip over the black center core in the filter lower body. Where I purchaced the pool they went to FILBUR filters they are total junk it lasted two weeks I paid 90.00$ for it it is half the weight of a pentair

I bought this filter replacement cartridge to replace a Clear and Clean 75 Pentair original cartridge. It worked perfectly. My water became clear and clean as it is suppose to be.
