Warranty Ecommerce (EC) products: Products purchased from an Authorized Pentair Online Reseller (products beginning with EC-) receive a one (1) year (parts only) warranty from the date of purchase. The exceptions are: IntelliChlor cells and IntelliFlo SVRS pumps which receive a two (2) year warranty. EC products are not eligible for the bundled three (3) year extended warranty.
EasyTouch Control Systems eliminate the inconvenience of repeated trips to the equipment pad, memorizing operating sequences, opening and closing valves and resetting time clocks and thermostats. What’s more, EasyTouch systems set the standard for operating simplicity with push-button operation and clear, intuitive instructions and displays.
EasyTouch systems are available for separate pools and spas, as well as pool/spa combinations with shared equipment or separate circulation systems. You select from systems that control 4 or 8 accessory functions. Four-function systems are typically used to control pool and/or spa operation plus pool or spa lights and heaters. Eight-function systems allow separate scheduling for additional features, such as landscape lighting, waterfalls, fountains, additional heaters, and more.
For added flexibility and convenience, indoor, spa-side and wireless remote control devices can be added to any EasyTouch system. As you can see, with EasyTouch systems, pool, spa and poolscape accessory operation—including sanitization— becomes as simple as operating your automatic lawn sprinkling system.

Is the EasyTouch Compatible with a home automation system like the RS-232 or RS-485?

No the Easy Touch will not tie into a home automation system. You would need to go with the Pentair Intellitouch in conjunction with the Pentair I-Link. The I-link will tie the home automation system into the Intellitouch system. Hi Sean, You would need to add both the Intellichlor Cell and Intellichlor Power Supply. Something like this Intellichlor IC-40 Salt System
