Does a Letro Levelor require an electrical connection?
Reply
The short answer; no it does not require an electrical connection. The Levelor is operated and adjusted by the internal valve and float arm. You can adjust the water level by tightening or loosening the wing screw on the float arm. Also, take some time to review the Letro Auto Fill Installation Instructions.

I purchased the pool leveler T40FW in 2010 and installed with my pool. I had my pool up and running before my deck was poured and noticed that as swimmers played in the pool, the waves made the leveler turn on and off constantly. The noise was annoying and I removed it before installing the deck. I can install near my pump and filter and need to know if there a way of installing check valves to stop this?

I installed mine on the over flo pipe out side of concrete deck and it works fine, had to turn valve down to feed line so the feed pressure was light ,Hope this helps ,

(5 out of 5 stars) Nice pool option, no more fill hoses.

Pros: No more hoses you might forget to shut off.
Cons: None yet
After our neighbor accidentally left their pool fill hose on for 3 days we decided this was a worthwhile expense. We are in the process building our own inground pool. Most codes will require a backflow preventer in the water pressure line. Lots of work to core through our concrete basement wall dig the trench but so far I believe it is worth it. I would also recommend a convenient shutoff valve so you can disable the autofill every now and then so you don't mask a pool leak. This is a toilet type fill valve in a plastic tank, it is simple and should be reliable.

(3 out of 5 stars) Keeps the pool fillled...

Keeps the pool fillled... Only problem is the toilet filler valve that comes with the unit did not work for me... keep running and would not shut off. Bought the premium one from Home Depot and it works great now.
