  • 208 cu. in. (3411 cm3) heavy-duty strainer basket with exclusive priming tube for superior priming capabilities.
  • Exclusive flap prevents debris in the pump strainer, skimmer basket and filter from flowing back into the pool. The flap also prevents residual hot water in the heater from flowing into filter and causing damage to grids, valves, gaskets, etc.
  • Internal ribs in large strainer basket assure flow, even when filled with leaves and debris.

Hi, The Jacuzzi J-VSP250 Variable Speed Pump is still available, we just do not sell that model.

What is the difference on the Jacuzzi® J-VSP250 Variable Speed at Leslie pool and the 270 model except for the extra power. Is the cost to operating the same? They leave a 5 year warranty.

Hi Leif, That version is designed exclusively for Leslie's. This model has the Magnum Force body with the Century V-Green motor.

Can the variable speed pump be used in conjunction with roof mounted solar panels?

Hi, Michael Ackerman. This Magnum Force VS Pump can be used to operate a pool with solar panels. You will have to calculate the feet of head in order to confirm.

Can I hook up a Hayward GL-235 to this? The output of the GL-235 is a high voltage 115v output.

Hi. Yes, you can use the auxiliary load circuit to power the Hayward Solar Controller - GL-235.

Hi can I hook up a gl- and make the pu amp go to a higher speed when the gl-235 calls for heat? How do I make the connections?

Hi. Unfortunately, this pump is unable to operate a Solar Controller in this manner, a Pool Automation Control System is required.
