I have two sensors, one for the air temperature and one for water temperature. This part looks like my air sensor, but I need the water sensor replaced. Is this the correct one for water? Thanks!

Hi, The Goldline / AquaLogic Temperature Sensor Kit w/ 15ft Leads (GLXPC12KIT) would be the correct temperature sensor for the water.

Hi Dan. The temperature sensor input terminal is located on the left of the display on the Hayward Controllers.

I have a Haywood System with a Pro Logic Controller and it shows a 'water temperature sensor short'. Do I assume that is what needs to be replaced, or do I do some troubleshooting? And, if bad, what is the part # and price?

Hi, Ken. You can troubleshoot the sensor by measuring the resistance. You can use the chart on page 44 of the ProLogic Troubleshooting Guide. If the sensor is fine, then the terminal is the issue.

I see another question in your Q and A section asking if his is the right sensor for the air, are the two sensors different, I have been led to believe that the two sensors are interchangeable and this sensor could be used either for the air or water sensing side of the unit ?
