Power-Flo Matrix Above-Ground Pump With XStream Cartridge Filter

XStream size for an XStream Clean. Once you see the new XStream fltration from Hayward, you`ll be hooked. Its massive size and incredible performance mean years of trouble-free filtration. Yes, it has the 6' standard 3-prong power cord. The warranty is one-year from the date of purchase.

Needed a new filter for my pool. The old one stopped working.

I needed a new filter for my new pool and where I purchased the pool wanted to charge too much for the filter. I found a great deal at Inyo pools. I had the pool sent to me and it was an easy installation. Works great.

This filter kept a 24' pool, crystal clear and with the 2-speed pump it's economical to operate. After initial start-up the cartridge only needed to be cleaned twice. I bought an extra filter cartridge, so changing is quick and simple. The filter has easily outperformed a sand filter w/bigger pump that it replaced and saved electricity to boot. Whether you purchase this pump or not, I highly recommend a 2-speed or variable speed pump. Not being used to this type of filter, it's very light weight when empty, so when screwing on/off the tank top, the unit will slide around and could damage the fittings connecting to the pump. The solution is to fill the tank, making it heavy, so it won't slide around when screwing the top part on or off. Use shutoff valve or stoppers as necessary.
