Part Number: PL0193 | Pureline
✅ Secure Your Winter Cover with Heavy-Duty Water Tubes
The Pureline 10 ft Double Chamber Water Tube (PL0193) is designed to anchor inground pool winter covers securely in place. Built for durability and reliability, this double chamber design offers enhanced protection by maintaining stability—even if one chamber is accidentally punctured or leaks.
Product Features
✅ Length: 10 feet
➡️ Ideal for use along the edge of rectangular inground pools
✅ Double Chamber Design
➡️ Provides backup protection—if one side deflates, the other continues to hold the cover in place
➡️ More secure and wind-resistant than single-chamber tubes
✅ Durable Cold-Resistant Vinyl
➡️ Constructed to withstand freezing temperatures and UV exposure
➡️ Designed for long-term seasonal use
✅ Easy Fill & Drain Valves
➡️ Fill with water (not air) using a garden hose
➡️ Do not overfill—fill about ¾ full to allow for ice expansion
Installation Tips
➡️ Place along the edge of your pool’s winter cover
➡️ Overlap ends of multiple tubes for full perimeter coverage
➡️ Use in combination with cover clips or grommets for a secure fit
⚠️ Do not drag across concrete—this may cause punctures

what keeps the water from freezing in the water tubes?

Hi, John. Freezing is accounted for, you will fill the tube 3/4 of the way to account for expansion when the water in the tube freezes.

Chatted and spoke with rep. Order floating pool tubes. They arrived. First, we started at the stairs of the po with the cover(pool is oval) then we walked it down on each side till the other end of the pool.We placed the watertight around the pool on top of the pool cover. Proceeded to fill them 3/4 full and closed each side after we filled them. Both products were a great buy, affordable process and comes with guarantee. It held up perfect through our winter storm and have kept leaves also out the pool.

We wrapped the empty pool water tube around the leg of the slide. Placed the tube inside the strap on the cover and then filled the tube with water. It is still holding nicely today.

Garden hose
This doesn't qualify as a repair - it was a great preventative! I laid the net out where I wanted it to go. I put the uninflated tubes through the loops in the net, and adjusted the positions of all until they were where I wanted them.
Then I used a garden hose to fill the tubes with water, and closed the plugs. The water tubes held the net in place, and I had no problem with leaves in the pool when I opened it in the spring.

Single tubes tend to roll and tend to freeze and rupture. Found that the double tubes stay in place better. Double tubes need less water and don't rupture as easy as the single.

They serve as advertised, but durability is limited. The plastic becomes stiff and prone to damage or leaking when it is cooler. Probably better if installed or removed on a warm day. Fortunately the price is not too bad, should some need replaced.

These have been great for closing our in ground pool. They are pretty durable given the winters here & after buying many of them initially, we now only occasionally have to replace one that has a leak from freezing/thawing repeatedly
