This Adjustable floating pool chlorinator has a heavy duty design and holds 1" or 3" chlorine tablets. The locking cap ensures that your chlorine tablets stay in your chlorinator and not at the bottom of your pool. The adjustable control ring allows for precise chlorine dosing and to top it all off it comes with a thermometer.

One 3" chlorine tablet can last about 5-7 days depending on the temperature of the water, the higher the pool water is the faster the chlorine tablet will dissolve.

Is floating dispenser #8077 adequate for a 3500 gallon pool? If so how many maintenance pellets should be used when chlorine levels begin to fall off after a chlorine shock?

Hi, Gene. One Floating Chemical Dispenser is not sufficient to chlorinate a 30,000 gallon pool, you will need multiple units filled with 3-4 tablets.

Nice simple floating chlorine dispenser with adjustable treatment rotating window and very easy to use out of the box. No fancy gimmicks just a simple product. No issues with floating or righting itself when tossed in.

Good chlorinator, except cap would not lock. First chlorinator was shipped without cap. Inyo sent a whole new chlorinator with cap, but it would not lock.
