Per AutoPilot - The Tri-Sensor does not have the pilot holes, although the Manifold has them. The customer can use them to drive the screws in using a screw-gun (drill). All the customer needs to do is make sure that the Tri-sensor is pushed all the way into the Manifold.Reply

My replacement unit has no pilot holes either. Should I drill? It did come with replacement screws so it seems they should be used, just no pre-drilled holes.Reply

I have purchased several things from you, but not the Autopilot. I have a brand new sensor that has no holes either. I will drill pilot holes before installing. Thanks for offering to help me out.Reply

There are no holes in the factory installed sensor. I have one now to replace and the screws were just driven into the sensor at the factory resulting in cracks and now leaks.Reply

AutoPilot Tri-Sensor - There should be a set of holes in both the sensor and the tee. See Step seven of this guide. If not, I would get an exchange from where you purchased this sensor. I would not drive a screw into the sensor without a starter hole. You might split or weaken the sensor.Reply

There are no screw holes to line up with in the sensor body. How far should you push the new sensor into the tee. Everything worked as it should. Dont forget to lub the "O" ring.Reply
