How does this connect to inground pool
Reply
Hi JC, This connects directly to the port at the bottom of your skimmer. You will remove your skimmer basket and attach the cleaner hose to the bottom port of your skimmer.

I have an 18 ft round above ground. The pump is on the ground. The skimmer is on the top. Does this connect to the skimmer?
Reply
Hi Kathleen, Yes the Super Blue pool cleaner would connect directly to your skimmer.

How does it works. Is it automatic Can this be used in a 220 volt? I want to ship it in the Philippines

Hi Monico, The hose of the cleaner plugs into your skimmer and then uses the suction from your pool pump to vacuum up the debris off the floor and walls of your pool. No power is hooked up to the pool cleaner as it works off the power of your pool pump.

We have a 16 x 32 oval above ground pool, that has a deep end as well. Does this vacuum come with enough hose to reach my entire pool to clean properly?

Hello Wanda- The Automatic Pool Cleaner Super Blue - PL1803 only comes with 33 feet of hose, so if the skimmer isn't in the middle of the pool it will have trouble cleaning the entire pool.

WILL IT CLEAN THE SIDE WALLS
Reply
Hi, Albert. This cleaner can clean the walls of an inground swimming pool. However, several factors like the return jet position, cove radius, suction level and pool design can prevent it from maneuvering up the walls. You can review the Super Blue Automatic Cleaner Manual for installation requirements.

My pool goes from 8 foot to 4 feet deep. will this cleaner self propelled, and do the sides? Thanks Ruichard

Hi, Richard. This cleaner will not drive itself, it is driven by the water current guided by the hose. It can also clean the walls of your pool.

What propels this cleaner? What does the bottom look like?

Hi, Leslie. This unit is operated by suction created by your pool's equipment which operates the internal Flow Valve. We do not have a picture of the bottom.

We have a small round 12ft x4 ft above ground pool. I don’t have a skimmer so what kind of skimmer can I get to work with this pool cleaner?
Reply
Hi, Noel. We will need to know what type of pool you have before we can recommend a skimmer. Pictures of your pool will also work.

my kreepy krawly gets stuck on my bottom pool drain grate, about 8" diameter. Will this glide over it,? anyone had a similar problemand comment?

Hi, Don. This is a common issue with these style cleaners. You can use the Polaris Unicover as an accessory to prevent the cleaner from getting stuck on the main drain.

Our concrete pool is 10ft deep closest to the skimmer. Will this cleaner work?

Why is it so cheap. All off the others are 300 to 400 more?

Hi Thomas we actually manufacture this cleaner so it eliminates the traditional mark up from the manufacturer to the distributor then the distributor to the retailer and then the retailer to the pool owner, for this reason we can keep the price much lower.

What is the return policy if it doesn't work or not satisfied?
Reply
Hi, Jim. You can return the product if it's unused or opened within 30 days of the purchased date. Once the unit has been used, it can only be returned if it's defective.

I had one of these before and it eventually wore out. Only trouble it gave me was that it continually crawled out of the pool up the walls and would begin to suck air, then the pump would stop running and have to suck up the water again when it slid down to the bottom. Any way to keep it in the water?
Reply
Hi, Fred. That happens when the cleaner has too much suction, it will need to be reduced to prevent the cleaner from getting out of the pool.

What are the moving parts? Can I get repair parts?

what is the purpose of the flat bar on the front of the cleaner.it has a smaller float that does not float and slides up and down on the bar. the float is 2 piece and does not appear to be designed to float .

Hi, Ray. That part help keep the cleaner head aligned at the proper level balance.

Where, or how do I adjust weight to keep the head flat on the floor?

Hi, Lynn. See page 10 of the Super Blue Automatic Cleaner Manual.

This would be the best pool cleaner for an above ground pool of that size.

My cleaner will only move backwards. This does not allow it to get in the corners. What adjustments do I need to make to get it to move forward. The first time i used it, it did operate in a forward motion.
Reply
Hi, Gary. Due to the design and maneuverability of this cleaner, it will appear to be moving backward. The cleaner is moving in the correct direction.

I had a KREEPER FOR 8 or 9 years with no problems, did well and kept the pool clean from algae and sediment, dust etc. The new pump problem..., was it would putt putt due to the variable pump put in place of the older workhorse. What is the recommended RPM so we have enough suction, I've got about 36,000 gal. pool kidney shaped, plaster redone in 2012 or 2013. I'm using a solid hose instead of the shorter overlapping type. RE:type to buy on 04JULY SALE....?

Hi, Richie D. This unit requires a minimum flow rate of 25 GPM. You will have to set the RPM on your variable speed pump to ensure proper water flow.

What recommended RPM will generate 25 GPM?

Hi, Tina. Based on your pool setup, you will have to use a battery operated vacuum. An automatic pool cleaner cannot be used.

I need to know exactly how this unit works on suction. I currently have a pressure type pool cleaner and am looking to replace it.
Reply
Hi Douglas, essentially the suction causes the cleaner diaphragm/ flapper to pulsate or expand then contract. This motion causes the cleaner to randomly move along the swimming pool.
