Is the body of model #360040 and #360042 identical? Can I use either model to go from vinyl to plaster lined pools by just changing from a pleated seal to a flat seal? Thanks
Reply
Hi, Stan. The body on both units are the same just the seal is different.

My gunite pool was painted with a epoxy paint that is very slick. I have had trouble w/my pool barracuda suction it has completely stopped working. It is over 10 yrs old. Will this model adhere to the slick surface of the epoxy paint or will I have the same problem? It is an odd shaped pool, in the shape of a molar-yep a tooth!. It slopes in a crazy s curve where the steps walking in to the pool water is about 3' deep for 3 ' then it slopes down immediately to 5 then straight down to 12. thanks!

Hi. For a painted slick surface, I would recommend the Kreepy Krauly Pool Cleaner for Vinyl & Fiberglass Pools (Pleated Seal) - 360042 model. We made need additional accessories like weight, hoses etc based on where you vac line is located.
