I'm interested in buying the life hook, but it doesn't come with a pole, where would I obtain a pole that will fit the hook?

The pole required for the life hook is a solid (non-telescopic) pole made of fiberglass. You will likely have to find one locally since they are not sold online.

Pros: Strong enough to lift a beeeeeg fish.

I use this pole for bringing up fish on my pier. The pier is high so none of the fishnet poles at the sports stores have them that long. Lost my last one in Ike. No painting stores or pool supply stores near me seem to carry yours. It is the construction/weight of the metal handle that is different. Broke my other substitute bringing up a small shark. Bet he won't get away with 'ours'. Glad I found you on the Internet.

A must for pool care and this one works for all my needs. After a while it started sliding down when using it. It just wouldn't stay tight. Very frustrating to use. My husband finally did something to it and it stopped sliding but I can't change lengths. That's ok as I use that length all the time. But I was disappointed in the poke.
