Pool Cove 48" Section - Peel N' Place Closed Cell Foam
4" tall, 3" deep, 48" long. The color may be white or blue.
Much easier to install and more dependable than sand coves, Peel & Stick Pool Cove has an adhesive backing for quick, easy installation and will extend the life of your liner for years!
A cove is needed to keep the weight of the water in the pool liner from causing it to balloon out under the bottom of the pool wall. Previously, pool cove had to be hand-built using tons of sand or dirt. Liner failures due to cove washout were all too common. Corrosion occurred rapidly where metal components, at the bottom of the pool, came in contact with moisture in the sand or dirt.

When installing the Peel and Stick Pool Cove, do I need to seal it using tape to the Gorilla floor?
Reply
Hi Matt, This cove does have an adhesive strip on the back of the cove which would secure it to the pool wall. No tape or adhesive would be needed on the bottom of the cove to secure to Gorilla floor.

I was and have replaced the liner but the peal and stick even after cleaning didn't stick.
The pool ordinarily had a dirt cove. Perhaps since the metal was not new cause an issue. I went back to dirt cove. Unfortunately you only have 30 day from order not recipe to return. If anyone wants to buy them they are brand new in the box. I'm trying to think of uses such as wall bumpers for kids or parking stops for cars in a garage.

(5 out of 5 stars) A must have product

Pros: easy to use, quick to install
Cons: none that I found
If you are still using sand to build up the sides, this is the product for you. Its sooooo easy to use and it builds the perfect edge for the liner. You don't even have to think about it, just peal of the the protective tape to reveal the sticky back and stick to the side of the pool. It even has a groove cut out for the bottom channel so it seems to be impossible not to get the perfect berm that is so important for the liner to fit properly.

Very easy to install. Worked like a charm. I wish I would have used these on the initial install instead of doing a dirt Cove.

So much easier than sand. A little difficulty getting the back to stick on some. Just used tape when needed.

So easy to use - was able to put in fast and i like the fact that the liner isn't touching the bottom of the pool frame
