will this kit fit my S8PM2.0 pool pump. Mine only has 1 o' ring on the diffuser.

The yellow lining that mates with the impeller on my diffuser is worn and there is a bit of a wobble between the 2 components.
Other than that both parts are in good condition, the lining appears to be bonded in so I am assuming the diffuser needs to be replaced. Am I correct?
Thank you

Good afternoon Charles, That piece in yours should be copper or brass. It is normal for those to wear over time. Yes, you would need to replace the diffuser as this is all one piece.

Does this replace the R0445303 difuser kit that seems to be discontinued?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Patrick, The R0445303 is an impeller kit and this R0445400 is the diffuser kit that works in conjunction with the R0445303 impeller kit. Are you needing the diffuser or impeller?

Thanks for follow-up again... I don't think a replacement impeller or diffuser is needed; It was just that the gaskets that seemed to come with the impeller is the same price as ordering the gaskets separate. I just orderd the motor and the main spring gasket. Hopefully that gets me through the replacement. Have a good day!

Thanks, Patrick we really appreciate it!

Sorry - one last question. The installation guide I saw after buying motor suggests a graphite lubricant for gaskets. Didn't see that at all on site - any suggestion for what can be used? thanks again

Hi Patrick, we suggest this Pool O-Ring Lubricant

The diffuser in turning causing the curved part to extend into the opening where the basket goes. I cannot removed the basket once it's in and the diffuser has turned or not be able to put the basket back in. The company that installed it showed me how to turn in and it happened again. He said the screw probably came out. Where do the screw(s) go. I couldn't tell from the diagram.

Hello. The diffuser is attached to the backplate with diffuser screws. In order to re-attach the diffuser, the motor assembly must be removed from the wet end of the pump. When installed correctly the diffuser should never rotate. Adding a small quantity of Loctite to the diffuser screw threads will help hold the screws in place. Attached please find an exploded parts diagram for a Jandy Stealth Pump. This will provide some general information on where to attach the diffuser.
