Part # 9995872-ASSY
60' Cable, with Swivel and 3 wires. You will need to order a 9991279 Retrofit Kit separately to build the motor plug on this ASSY Cable
Maytronics Robotic Cables are currently designated as ASSY (Assembly) or DIY (Do It Yourself) depending on the design of the plug on the motor end of the cable. For most of the older Robotic models, the cord was installed through the small hole in the SIDE panel of the cleaner. The opening on the side was too small for the cord to go through with the plug on the end, so the wires needed to be threaded through the opening first and then attached to a separate plug with a Retrofit Kit before being connected to the motor. These cables with “assembled” plugs are designated as “ASSY” at the end of the cable’s manufacturing code.
To improve the plug design, Maytronics created a molded plug that was permanently attached to the motor end of the cable. Instead of coming through the small hole in the side, the cable entered through the TOP of the cleaner and was simply plugged into the top of the motor. Because this cable design was much simpler to install, it was designated as “DIY” for Do It Yourself at the end of the cable’s manufacturing code.
Other differences between the Robotic cables include: the length of the cable; whether they have a swivel; their type of protective spring (DIY cables only); and whether they have 2 wires or three. Dog chewed into the chord making it unsafe to operate. The model number for the Dolphin Nautilus I have is 99996323. If I am looking to replace the entire assy, what is the correct PN to order? Thank you.

I have a Maytronic Dolphin 4Deluxe that has stopped working. I have checked everything and found that out of control unit I get 29 amps out of the amorphic plug but if falls to 26.2 amps at the swivel connection in the cord and continues to the motor. Continuity check with the cord was good. Is the problem with the cord?

It sounds like it could be an issue with the cable, but to be sure I’d test the unit with any other cable to just to be on the safe side. The motor could still be a problem as well.
