What are the clues that this valve assembly is malfunctioning? Mine has a new impeller and drops into the ball area just fine. But the pool heads are erratic - some don't rise - different ones rise when I turn pool off and on again.

Hi, If the specific zone is not be activated or the heads do not come up all the way are the top two reason that indicates the module is bad. Also, if your filter is dirty is can be diagnosed as a bad module.
