The Pentair® 350015 Pump Housing (Volute) is the genuine replacement body for select WhisperFlo® and IntelliFlo® inground pool pumps. This high-strength thermoplastic housing forms the core water chamber of the pump, directing flow between the impeller and discharge port. Ideal for repairing cracked, warped, or leaking pump bodies.

Does this part require a gasket?

Tom - Yes, this volute has a gasket between the volute and the seal plate. It will be one of two options depending on the year and make of the pump. See the parts lists for the Pentair pumps using this volute under "Volute, Wfe (almond) (after 11/98) (350015)" For example if you have a Whisperflow Pump you will need #9 Gasket Seal Plate. That's the main gasket. You may also need an impeller O-ring, an difusser O-ring and an motor shaft Seal.

Is this the correct replacement for P/N 011514 PMP WFE-6 20/-230V 1.5HP DATE 06/30/2010
Also, is there a kit to replace necessary gaskets,etc.

Hi, Jim. Yes, this is the correct Volute for the WFE-6 pump that you have. The Whisperflo Tune Up Kit - GOKIT32 or GOKIT32SALT includes all the seals for rebuilding the pump.
