Sight Glass
When I backwash or rinse with my Pentair multiport, water spews with high pressure from the sight glass. Will replacing the sight glass solve this problem? I recently replaced the top section of the multipart and it works fine on filter mode.

It is very common that there is a gasket where the sight glass threads into. You may need to replace both the gasket and the sight glass.

is the item that i will receive the one pictured with the open vents? i had ordered from diff company same p/n and picture but received a non vented no holes one .

Hello Joe- The Sight Glass w/ Vacuum Protector (272550) part # 4600-2550 will come as pictured and have the vacuum vents with the rubber stopper.

hi, i have a problem with water spraying out my sight glass on my p/n262506 when i run backwash or rinse.. should i replace it or maybe a gasket?

Hi, Jimmy. I would recommend replacing the Sight Glass Gasket - E-16-S1 if the valve body and sight glass are in good condition.
