I have an AquaTools valve, Model #WC112-147, WC112-148. Are AquaTools, Pentaire and Stay-Rite all the same? Will this part work for my model?

Hi Al, This part will work with your WC112 Series Valve. AquaTool and Sta-Rite have been acquired by Pentair.

I turned the rotor while the pump was running. There are no obvious breaks or cracks in any assembly. The only thing I observed was the yellow spider gasket seemed to have deterorated with pieces scattered about. Symptoms were the waste port was running a trickle of water when the valve was on filter. Looking for suggestions.

Hello John, If you have a trickle of water running out of your waste line while your pump is running on filter you need to replace that spider gasket piece. Rotor, W/gasket 4679-12 this type goes to a Sta Rite Multiport 1 1/2" WC112 Series.

Will this part fit a Sta-Rite 53185 filter?

We show this part as being for a Hayward slide valve SP410X. To further cross reference the parts for your filter you can call in to provide the filter model number and or send in images through our support request page. The model number you providsed boes not crossreference in our system not google.

Is this spider gasket what I need when I am replacing the port assy on sta rite t-210wf with port 261186?

Hi, Brenda. This Rotor, w/Gasket - 14965-0028 will only work with the WC112 Series valve. If you have the 261186 valve then you can use the MPV 1.5" Tune Up Kit - APCK1067 or the Diverter Gasket - 271104.

Pool not clear

Written on 11/2/2020 by Guest

First I check chlorine and PH levels. Then I backwashed the filter and left it running all night long because it was not clear. I checked the filter rotor gasket and that was damaged. Changed the piece and it fixed the pool water in 12 hours.

1 Look at instructions on Inyopools.com.
2 Detach plumbing from multi port valve
3 Unbolt multi port valve by using a screw driver and C wrench or socket. Set aside bolts and nuts.
4 Lift valve off of filter
5 Photograph the position of the valve handle on top and corresponding rotor/gasket position on bottom for reference when reassembling.
6 Set the valve face up on a towel or other soft surface and depress the ring with your feet, which causes the spring on the rotor to compress and the handle to raise up.
7 Using a hammer and nailset, knock out the pin that holds the handle to the rotor post and set both aside, along with the washer that the handle rides on.
8 Flip the valve over, pull out the rotor with the spring and washers.
9 Transfer the spring and washers to the new rotor w/ gasket.
10 Insert the new part into the valve. Refer to your photograph.
11 Flip it back over, depress the valve again, and reconnect the handle—refer to your photo.
12 Reconnect it to the filter and plumbing.
