Seth, This lid can be used on several different Waterway Pumps. If you can send us photos of the housing I can try to locate the correct housing.

How would i know if my trap is full? Will the water stop flowing into the pool.

The water will definitely slow down, depending on how full you are talking about. It is better for the motor if water not flowing does not happen. It would put unneeded stress on it and possibility cause the motor to fail prematurely. If you see a decrease in the returning water, please empty the basket as soon as possible.

This product is no longer available, is there a substitute?

Hi Roy, We researched this lid and found that the 319-3260 was replaced by the 319-4100 and this lid is a direct replacement. So we have re-activated this product and when placing an order we will ship the new 319-4100 lid which is shown in the photo on this page.

We have the above ground hi flo pump it is a replacement for the original pump, We are having problems with when I connect the vacuum hose it sucks air. I googled the problem and found finally an answer that fits our issue. They said that the o ring in the filter basket/lid needed replacement and that fixed it. I see this replacement is made a bit sturdier than our lid. Does it also come with the o ring? we have been afraid the lid might break so I thought I should just get the whole lid in case

Hi Sue, The Waterway Hi-Flo Lid (319-3260) does not come with the Lid O-ring (5050-14A) it is sold separately. You can start with replacing the lid and o-ring to see if that will solve your problem.
