What is the difference between item 6652-10 and item 6652-10A?

The 6652-10A is the Neverlube diverter which never requires lubrication, if you have a black valve then you need to go with this one. The 6652-10 is the standard diverter which requires lubrication if you have the gray valve then is the current diverter you have although you can upgrade to the black neverlube style. Does the diverter valve assembly come with the necessary "O" rings and gaskets to replace it? Thank you.

Hi Connie, The Valve Diverter Assy does not come with the Valve Cover O-ring.

Hi, Greg. The valve style/type along with the plumbing port size are the info needed to identify the valve in order to locate replacement parts.

I need a new insert for my gray 3 way valve. It connects water coming from the pool , going up into rubber solar panels, the heated water goes back to the pool through another pipe. If I turn it one way, it works as above, If I turn it another way, it directs it into the return to pool pipe. That is the way it always worked, however, no matter which way I turn it the water does not re-direct so I assume it is a worn out valve. Is this the part I am looking for?

Does this part come with the small O rings at the top and bottom of the diverter?

Linda, no, the Jandy Diverter, Valve Assy (3045) Gray Valve Grease Type does not come with the small O rings at the top and bottom of the diverter. You can purchase the O-ring, 15/16" Od, 3/4" Id - 116 separately.

Quick delivery. Replacement part installation easy. At first new diverter wasn't sealing completely which was evident by my solar panels sucking air and whistling very loud thru pressure relief cap. As of 07/09/2011 problem is not evident. Nieghbors are grateful.
