Generic replacement round skimmer lid for the Pentair / American Products Admiral skimmer.
This lid is used with the replacement basket, part number 4060-01A.
The collar for this skimmer cover can be purchased separately. The part number is 4060-04 (85000600).
How do I figure out what weir goes with this skimmer. The weir was completely missing when we bought the home.

If your skimmer cover has a part # of 4060-03A, it is associated with an American Products Admiral Skimmer which has has a weir assembly, part # 4060-11. It's dimensions are 5 1/8 x 8". Check that this weir will fit n the skimmer hole. Also to double check, see if their are any other part #s on your skimmer that match with the American Products list. I need a replacement skimmer cover for one that I have had on my pool for 20+ years. On the back of the cover, there are some numbers that read as follows: P/N 45118000 and in one section it reads FOR ALL MODELS S15 S20. Will this cover work for a replacement? The American Products Inc. inscription is also on the back of the cover.

Is the 85007400 the replacement part for the Pentair 45118000 skimmer lid?
The 45118000 is the number located on the underside of the lid.....which is approx.
25 years old. Thank you for your help! Dave

The cover on my skimmer was 18 years old and had cracked. I was worried that I would not be able to find a replacement for it after all that time but by using the p/n on the original cover I was able to cross reference it on the Inyo Pools website and the replacement fit perfectly.

After visiting my local pool supply retailer and finding all the skimmer covers were made in China, I decided to go on line to see if I could buy a US product. Since my existing cover was from American Products, that seemed like a good bet. But the ad I found was not specific about country of origin so I asked and was told it was American made. What arrived was not an American Products cover, and it clearly was made in Taiwan. I got an apology from the company, but it just seems wrong to me.
