Replacement swimming pool pump housing assembly for Sta-Rite Dura-Glas II and Max-E-Glas pumps. This assembly includes the pump housing, lid, o-rings and basket.

My pump housing is leaking. I can not patch it with epoxy. The plate on the pump reads Model P4EA6E-186L and CODE L026. Is this the correct replacement housing for this pump. I recently replaced the motor and the inside of the pump but now the housing is leaking. IS THIS THE REPLACEMENT PART???

That model P4E does indeed match up with a Sta-rite Dura-Glas II ans/or a Max-E-Glas II If you click on the blue it will take you to their parts page. But, you are correct that part number 5055-16 is indded the body for the model you have.

i need to replace this housing but the one i need is 1 1/2". i bought a new 2" one and put reducers on it but i found out that where the difuser goes in is a different size on the 2" compared to the 1 1/2". what model do i need.

Hi Donald, The Diffuser port inside the housing the same size. You may have to confirm the model of the pump you have to make sure that you ordered the correct part. The Maxi-Glas/ Dura-Glas II pump wasn't available with 1-1/2" ports.

is this part good replacement for 2 horsepower motor

It is not going to depend on the motor, it is going to depend on the model of your pump. That pump body is for a Sta-Rite Dura-Glas 2 so if that is what you have then it will fit.

Then tank I well designed and molded. Since the molding is of a high quality, gaskets fit and seal well. It's well made and designed to endure all kinds of weather.

Pros: good reliable pump
Cons: The manufacturer should use a better material.
This discontinued part was easy to replace, it came with a new basket, clear see through top and O ring and happy INYo had one!
