Can I use this cleaner on a vinyl liner pool?
Reply
The K60400 Kreepy Kruiser can be used in a vinyl liner pool however the manufacturer recommends the following: Before installing the cleaner in a vinyl liner pool: Check liner closely for signs of deterioration or damage from age, chemicals, pool wall damage, etc. If any damage is found, have a quali?ed pool professional make all the necessary repairs. Also, if there are stones, roots, etc., under the liner, remove them before installing the cleaner. Certain vinyl liner patterns are particularly susceptible to surface wear, pattern removal, ink rubbing off of, or serious scratches to the pattern caused by objects coming into contact with the vinyl surface, including automatic pool cleaners. Pentair Water Pool and Spa, Inc. is not responsible for any pattern removal, abrasions or markings on vinyl liners.

Does this cleaner attach to the pool filter or does it have an independent bag for debris?
Reply
The Kreepy Kruiser would connect to the skimmer or a dedicated vac line. We would recommend using a leaf canister to trap the debris.

(5 out of 5 stars) Kreepy Kruiser works well
Reviewed By: Paul M. from Campbellville, ON ()
Pros: It doesn't get stuck.
The Kreepy Kruiser doesn't look like much when you take it out of the box but it does a very good job of cleaning a pool. My old Barracuda used to get stuck but the Kruiser seems to just keep going. It even vacuums up the vertical walls if you turn up the suction. Its a good cleaner that costs less than most.

(4 out of 5 stars) Cleans Pool With Ease
Reviewed By: Jac25 from Pembroke Pines, Fl ()
Pros: keeps pool clean
Cons: the flap wears out and must be replaced once a year
I had this for three years now and it has been through some battles in my pool, it is very good I had to replace the Flap a couple of times because it stretches out and starts coming off but thats it. It is annoying but I can live with that, I had the barracuda before that and it was just terrible. If it was not for the flap or 18" mesh (i call it flap but I dont really know the name for it right now) I would give it a 5 star
