Does a Letro Levelor require an electrical connection?

The short answer; no it does not require an electrical connection. The Levelor is operated and adjusted by the internal valve and float arm. You can adjust the water level by tightening or loosening the wing screw on the float arm. Also, take some time to review the Letro Auto Fill Installation Instructions.

Hello Peter, The Letro Leveler w/ Fluidmaster Valve is installed in the deck before the rest of the pool is finished. You can view the installation instructions if you have any questions. This is not optimal as an after market add-on.

Pros: fluid master ballcock - best design ever
Cons: not enough adjustment room on the collar
the basic unit is easy to install and with a fluid master ballcock, you know it will be easy to repair. This was the second unit I bought for the same pool however, because my deck height exceeded the adjustment available on the collar and I used this unit to cut up as a spacer. That worked out really well but it would have been nice (and cheaper) if the manufacturer made an extension collar.

I've had this product now for 6 years and have yet to have any really issues at all. Two or three times the leveler has gotten stuck, which caused the water level to rise a bit, but a quick readjustment fixes the problem. If that is it for 6 years I can't ask for a better product!

Pros: Works good once set
Cons: Coming in from the bottom with supply
The unit work fine, just like the new toilet levelers. They use to have the ones with a float attached to the end of an arm, I personally like those better. You didn't have to come in from the bottom of the tank with your pressure line. We use this device for small fountains, not pools. The old ones use to have a 2" outlet on the bottom for the leveler pipe, but this one has it on the side. Is easier to set with the 2" on bottom.
