Dolphin track - The Part # of the Dolphin Advantage Track is 3295-299 and it is 12" in diameter and 1" thick. It has large teeth on the outside and small teeth on the inside. If this description does not match the track you ordered, or you have any other questions, please call one of our service reps at 877-372-6038. We will be glad to help you.Reply

the part that is shown in the directions is not the same part that is pictured. My unit takes the part that is in the instructions and the part I received is too wide and the teeth are not the width of the track, but merely little teeth that do not match the grooves of my machine. I thought I ordered the correct part because it looks exactly like my unit, but I don'tthink this is going to work.Reply

cleaner tracks - These tracks are tight and generally it helps to have two people to replace them. See our related guide on "How To Replace Maytronics Dolphin Nautilus Tracks". It has additional instructions on replacing these tracks.Reply

I just got my replacement tracks in today. I'm hoping they're the right tracks. They seem tight and I'm having a hard time getting them to fit around both of the big bottom rollers at once. The track looks like the one in the picture above, but not the one pictured in the instructions. Is there a trick to maybe stretching it out a bit? Thanks!

I replaced the tracks and brushes yesterday and it took me an hour tops. The instructions were simple to follow and my Dolphin Advantage pool cleaner is running like a champ. Thank you INYO Pools for having the replacement parts, the speedy delivery and simple do it yourself instructions. Looking forward to doing business with you in the future.Reply

when I helped my mother with her pool upkeep I noticed how loose the treads were on her pool vacuum. I got brave and decided to order replacement parts. The new belts arrived in the mail WITHOUT directions. Oh, my. After a moment's panic I found this detailed instruction - with pictures THANK YOU very much!- and I actually replaced them myself. I do so appreciate the time you took to share this knowledge. Vacuum is working like new. Everyone is pleased, and I'm proud.Reply

Great instructions, these type of instructions help us do the job ourselves and I thank you for it. I would like to add my experience for others.1- The bottom screws inside the unit are difficult to take out if you have big hands, there isn't a lot of room to work with especially on one side.
2- The side panel was tight and difficult to pull out, you need to force it without breaking it.
3- Replacing the track was easy but I believe the teeth are not the same either side so make sure you have the track correct. I would replace both tracks
4- The track is tight at first you need to force it in
5- The side panel will not go in easy, it does not align with the middle spindle. I used a screw driver to gently push down on the spindle while pushing in the side panel.
6- When screwing the panel back on, make sure the piece where the handle screws on pushes down easily, sometime they get stuck and you need to unscrew the panel.
Once you commit in doing the job, you have to finish it, there are not that many repair service centers around. The best bet is to learn as much as you can on how to do it, and then proceed. It looks a lot more difficult than it is, and at some point you will question yourself why you are doing it but at the end you will feel a sense of accomplishment. Good luck.

jalatianos - About all I can suggest is to look where the power cord goes into the cleaner and see if you bumped a connection when you changed the track. Also check the fuse in the power unit and make sure the cord at the power unit is on tight.Reply

Hi,I just replaced one of the tracks for my Dolphin pool cleaner and it appeared that everything went smooth. Problem is that the unit does not turn on now. Any ideas as to what I should look for?
Thanks - - John
