Having pool resurfaced - what do I need to startup pool water
Reply
That is an excellent choice for a pool up to 30000 gallons. The only question would be what the pool resurfacers suggest for the first 30-60 days. Typically it is to keep the chlorine low and maintain a low PH. The surface of the pool is curing and giving off chemicals that must be countered by muriatic acid. It all depends on the surface you are getting. Please check with the installers, since it is their directions you must follow to keep the warranty in place.

I've just fresh filled a newly painted 19,000 gallon pool . Do you have a start up kit for that?

Good evening, I would recommend checking with the manufacturer of the paint and see their guidelines for fresh fill start ups.

Is this OK for a 20x40 vinyl inground? Approx. 33,000 gallons

Hi Edward, yes this kit will do well for your size swimming pool however I would suggest dissolving the shock well before adding it to the pool water.
