I'm not sure I understand the difference between the standard tigershark and the QC model. Could you please let me know what the differences are.

The main difference between the Tiger Shark and The Tiger Shark QC is that the Tiger Shark QC has a quick cycle which can clean your pool in an hour and the The QC also has the standard cycle which will cleans your pool in 3 hours. The standard Tiger Shark just has has the standard cycle which will cleans your pool in 3 hours. You may view or purchase either of these cleaners through the following link http://www.inyopools.com/cleaners_tigershark.aspx

Does this cleaner use an internal filter bag?

No, this cleaner actually uses internal filter cartridges. If you already have this cleaner and you need to replace the filter cartridges for it, you can view and purchase them by clicking here.

Can the 9950 be used on an above ground pool or would this be over-kill?
Reply
We do not suggest the 9950 on an above ground pool as the cleaner is too heavy for the liner and can damage the liner.

Hi, I’m having an old tiger shark (I don’t know the year) and I’m looking for the user manual. It has an aquavac with the on/off with a second button below that I don’t for what it is...
The model on the motor part is RC9952.
Can you help me? Thanks and best. Paul
Here is the link to the owner's manual for the TigerShark...https://hayward-pool-assets.com/assets/documents/pools/pdf/manuals/Tigershark2Manual.pdf

The tigershark gets on top of the drain and can't move. Is there anyway to prevent this behavior?

We would recommend using the Polaris UniCover. It slips over the main drain and gives it a wider surface area. This prevents the cleaners from getting stuck on the drain.
