None of the 3 ports are labeled, how do I make sure the backwash port isn't connected to the pump port?

Brian, I checked our inventory and the ports are labeled on the valve body next to the ports.

Yes, you're correct! Thank you. I was working on it for a little while and didn't see the wording, I'm gonna go with the excuse that I have bad eyesight...Thanks again! Finally got her up and running today, can't wait to take off the cover and see the results (I had so many issues with cloudy water last year). I'll keep you posted.

Do you have a picture or could you tell me what each position is for the valve? All the numbers and words have faded off the sticker.

Hi, Jeffrey. This image is the only one we have that shows the valve positions.

Can you tell me what the different positions are in the image?

Same here with the words faded off label, can't tell if it is on filter, backwash, rinse etc>> The image is not clear, can you tell us what each number is since the words are not readable?

I have been able to locate information for you and a better image, you will need to download the image and zoom in. The filter location is at 12 o’clock and the backwash is at 6 o'clock. The ports are numbered as follows.1. Filter2. Backwash3. Rinse4. Waste5. Closed

Hi, I just tried to purchase this valve because mine (<1 yr old) has died. This says it's the "old style" and on backorder, what would be an equivlent replacement that fits PureLine Above Ground Pool Sand Filter System 1.25" Valve - PL1541? Thanks, Brian

Hi Brian, This would be the correct valve for a PureLine PL1511 or PL1512 sand filter system.

Hi Patrick, I understand this is the correct one, but again it's on backorder and states "old style", meaning it won't arrive for weeks/months. What is an equivalent model you have that fits this sand filter? Thanks, Brian

Unfortunately, we do not have an alternate valve option to suggest for this filter. We hope to see them return in spring 2021.

Old tank with Broken Valve

Written on 5/14/2023 by Guest

My undersized filter blew out its sand, so I salvaged my old large Pureline tank. Found a part # that took me to Inyo Pools. Saved a ton of $$ by replacing just the valve in lieu of a new assembly for +$300.
INYO Pools is my hero, thanks!
