Can I remove wet end mount screws, and rotate the top out let to center let and reinstall the mount screws. thank you

Yes the wet end can be rotated to the left or right 90° (often found as 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock) This is simple to complete, loosen the 4 motor through bolts - rotate the wet end - tighten bolts.

I have a big fish pond with a 1/2 h sta-lite lt series pump. Will this pump work?

Good morning John, This pump will not have the prime and the flow like the 1/2hp pump. I would just recommend replacing the motor on your current pump.
