my existing pump looks exactly like the one show, however my discharge port is on the left hand side in a horizontal position. Can this pump housing be rotated? I already get the emails I am a returning customer

Hi, Mike. The discharge on these pumps can be rotated to accommodate a horizontal installation.

My pump (XP2) has a the 2" connection on the end, like this model, and the second connection comes out 90 degrees counterclockwise from this pump. Can I change the direction of this connection?

Hello Mike, the discharge on AquaFlo Gecko Alliance XP2e Pump 2.0HP 230V, 2SPD, 56FR - 2"x2" SIDE DISCHARGE - 05320761-2040 can be rotated for horizontal applications.

I am replacing an aqua-flo 05625005-2 2 speed pump. Your site list the part #053207612000 as a replacement for my pump. However, I am under the impression my pump is 2.5 hp, and the listed replacement is only 2 hp. Is this correct? I don’t want less hp. Can I go up to 3? What xp2 e model would you recommend?
Hi Ken, this is the correct complete pump replacement for your pump model 05625005-2. Often times the way that they are both labeled and rated can be confusing however this is indeed the replacement pump.

Also, what's the difference between a XP2 and an XP2e ?
The 06120000-1040 Aqua Flo Gecko Alliance XP2 Pump 2.0HP 230V, 2SPD, 48FR - 2"x2" SIDE DISCHARGE https://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352029091.htm is the correct replacement for your model. The XP2E is more efficient and moves more water than the XP2. You may or may not benefit from the increased flow rate. The 1.5 Dual Speed 05115005-2 XP2E will move the same amount of water as the 06120000-104.
