Fits Hayward HeatPro heat pump models HP21404T, HP21004T, HP21254T, HP31154T, HP31204T, HP50TA, and Hayward Summit XL Heat Pump - SUMXL112, SUMXL140
Note that not all heat pumps will use all wires - the red one is capped off and should be tucked away in 4-wire installations.
Remove the heat shrink insulation on the 5th wire if your heat pump requires the red wire.

How does this connect to the bottom of the contactor? My old transformer has 2 wires (white and red), the new one has three wires (black, orange and red)

I have a Hayward HeatPro heat pump pool heater model No. HP21002, that was not operating. I replaced the Heat Pump Control Board, the Thermostat Interface board, the Transformer and the Temperature Sensor, and I am receiving the error code OP in the display. So, obviously, I still have not found the problem.
