No this is not the control panel for the Jandy Lite 2, however here we do carry parts for the Jandy lite 2 heaters

Jandy AE2500T, Looking at universal controller R3008800, I do not need control board, just the housing. Is that available ?

Hi Jim, The Universal Controller (R3008800) is sold as a complete, you can not purchase just the housing.

The screen says the pump is off. We try to follow the instructions how to turn it on, still its not working.

I have a Jandy LRZ pool heater and I have a message on the lcd - Universal Controller UI. See photo attached. I figuring I need a new user interface board. Agree?

Unfortunately we are not able to confirm the error code that you have thru normal diagnostic channels, you will need to contact the mfg direct for confirmation. Zodiac 800-822-7933

Yes, you will need to replace the controller with this controller it is not completing its boot up process and stops at description and software revision.
