hat is the bonding wire that's mentioned. Is that like a Ground wire? Where would that connect to. I realize that it's for safety but not sure where that would connect. The pump motor has a similar connecter on it.

Hello Scott. The Bond Wire would be connected to the external fitting on the underside of the pipe assembly. The Bond Wire provides an external connection between multiple conductive components that are not intended to carry electrical current. A Bond Wire can connect multiple components (pool equipment, screen enclosure). One end of the Bond Wire is connected to a grounding conductor. Not to be confused with the ground wire of electrical systems.
