I am replacing my burned out Hayward northstar sp4010x15ns sf 1.25 1.5 hp motor. Is this the correct shaft seal to go with it?

WILL THIS SEAL ALSO WORK FOR A 2 HP NORTH STAR SPX4000

Randy, Yes and no. It will fit on that pump only if that is the seal you are replacing. Hayward made several changes to that model pump. The only way to get the correct seal is to purchase the impeller kit.

I have a Hayward pump Model #SP4007X10NS that needs a new pump motor (SPX1607Z1MNSC). What is the correct shaft seal part number for this pump?

Hi FA, It depends on the year the pump was manufactured which were unable to tell by the model number. To ensure compatibility with the impeller Hayward recommends that you replace the Impeller Kit (SPX4007CKIT).
