I have a Tagelus TA100D sand filter with a TM-22 clamp on style valve attached to it. I need to replace the valve as the plastic is cracking. I've found the replacement valve on your site, but also what appears to be a generic one. The Pentair manufacturer part number for the valve is 261185. I see part number 4601-1185 on your site, can you tell me if this part will work for my filter and also what the difference is? Also, what kind of warranty does it come with? Thanks

If you currently have the TM-22 valve then you have the generic valve made by Praher. For a long time Praher made the valves for Pentair and now Pentair is making their own valves. We have both the Pentair OEM and the Praher replacement. The only difference is the Pentair OEM will have a Pentair label instead of a Praher label. The Pentair is also quite a bit higher cost. Both have a year warranty and both are made by Praher. The OEM is 4600-1185 which you may view or purc

I have a Pantera sand pool filter. I need a new valve. I know the filter is very old but can't find parts anywhere for a "pantera" filter. Did Pentair make Pantera, and will the valves work on a pantera if they did? I can't find the model number on the filter at all. On the valve handle says Sta-rite, but I don't know if that is a handle name of valve name. it is a 6 position sand filter with 2 inch hoses and clamped on. thanks.

I have a Sand Dollar filter that I want to put 2" plumbing on. Will this valve fit that filter and would my old standup tube assy still fit?

Hi, Emily. This valve can only fit the SD80 sand filter, all the other model uses the 1-1/2" Top Mount Valve Flanged -262506. You can still use 2" plumbing but will have to use a reducer from 2" to 1-1/2" to the valve.

This was the wrong item to replace what we already have. The description was incorrect for the model we have. Have since ordered the correct model with the help of the technical department.
