How do I check the transformer to see if its bad I have an hayward h400idl and the panel isn’t lighting up and heater won’t work

Hi, Ruben. Check the transformer using a multi-meter to confirm that it's getting 230 volts and putting out 24 volts. If your getting these readings, the transformer is good.
