my heater does not show temps when turned on . could this cause unit not to run , unit shows power but heater will not come on

Hello John and thank you for contacting Inyo Pools, I would recommend a technician to come out and run a diagnostic on your heater, if your heater isn't showing temps when turned on or not coming on at all; there could be a more than one part needing top be replaced. Pentair 400 master temp. heater will work with pool but when switched to spa starts knocking, temp read out climbs and it shuts down and starts process all over

I would recommend checking the temperature that the heater is set to heat the spa. If that's okay, follow the Initial Troubleshooting Guide located in the Pentair Mastertemp Heater Owners Manual.
