Our old basket had developed breaks and I had trouble finding one the right size to replace it. The last 2 years I've just mended it with zip ties! Found this one online, received it in DAYS and it's a perfect match and looks like it's made better than the original part! Great service.

Pros: Works well --Price

This particular basket when provided by manufacturer(WaterAce) over years of usage would break along a line on backside before water entering the impeller. Had to sew or stitch affected area with nylon twine to close opening due to strain of water being fed through. New nuit is reinforced with a plastic ridge and works well.

this pool strainer is made from a good sturdy plastic and does a great job of straining out material that gets by the pool skimmer easy to get in and out and wash out with a hose.
