Changing the shaft seal is quite simple. Here's How To Replace a Pool Motor Shaft Seal.

I notice that your generic Polaris pump shaft seal lists two different parts - a regular one and a different one for salt water pools. But there is only one OEM seal listed (3262-04). Is the OEM seal good for salt water pools as well, or should I order the generic part if I have a salt water pool?

If you have a saltwater pool, then would definitely recommend going with the generic heavy duty saltwater shaft seal.

I replaced all the seals on my polaris booster pump making sure I fallowed all installation steps. But I still have leaks at the seals. What did I do wrong?

Hi Mike, if you installed the shaft seal as instructed then the Housing Bracket (P10) could be the problem. It could be worn causing the seal not sit in the housing correctly.

Will this fit for PB4-60 pumps made after 2012?

Greg, It depends on the body style. If you have the newer body style booster pump, you will need this shaft seal: http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352041957.htm?Keywords=R0445500#parts
