I have a Pentair pump PN/340197. Is this the correct replacement pot for it? Is the opening 1 1/2 " entry and exit?

Yes this is the correct replacement strainer pot for your Pentair Dynamo Pump 340197. The inlet and outlet ports are 1.5" on this strainer pot.
