I have a hayward C2025 sunclear cartridge filter will this clamp work on it? if not where can I get a new clamp?

Hello Sandra. I am sorry, but I can not find a replacement for that clamp. I would suggest calling Hayward Tech to see if there is a possible replacement. Their number is 908-355-7995.

The C4000 parts page can be viewed here http://www.inyopools.com/pool_parts_hayward_super_star_clear_cartridge_filter.aspx?Keywords=c4000 Unfortunately, the clamp DEX2400J is discontinued without a replacement option. The Hayward Swimclear Cartridge Filter 425 sqft - W3C4030 is the suggested replacement filter.

This clamp is so much better than the original! Nut & bolt much better - not likely to get stripped like the original. Wish I knew the o-ring was included since I bought the replacement o-ring also. Well it will be nice to have an extra on hand as the Arizona heat takes it toll on rubber parts.

Certainly did the job of stopping leaks that had developed from the original clamp and seal. Easier to tighten down than the old design. Love that it came with a newer manual for the series of filter that we have. Also like the inclusion of new spec labels to put on the filter body.

This clamp assembly is much easier to put on than the old style. I was upset that the original bolt and nut were no longer available for the older version because the new assembly cost much more but now that I have the new one I will say it is a much better design. I hope they make the nut and bolt available on this unit.

Pros: this re/designedhayward clamp is far superior to the orig. the old spring clmap was tedious and hard to tighten!!! i see this one outlasting the filter and it was $100 cheaper

This is a good change in design from the old clamp which was difficult to tighten and every couple of years would result in striped treads, and costly replacement.
