This skimmer basket does not show the bottom of the basket no. 4030-04 I was told by the pool man it is referred to as a half moon basket the bottom is split in half the longer part fits in a "space" and the shorter part fits over the intake pipe

Hi Jacqueline, This basket does have as you call it a half moon bottom.

Hi, Steven. Here are the dimensions of this Skimmer Basket - 513036; Top OD: 7-1/2", Top ID: 6-11/16", Height: 4-5/8", and the Bottom OD: 5-13/16".
